Ā
In India it is called Rajkayu, and in China it is called Blood Dragon Wood. It is native to areas ranging from Southeast Asia to India, and its red color, as its name suggests, evokes the image of "dragon blood." It is a rare tree that grows in deep forests where the sun does not reach, and is transparent to light, a phenomenon that is said to be due to the fact that it contains a lot of sap. It is said that it was also used in traditional Chinese medicine in the past to absorb its spiritual power into the body.
